CASE MANAGEMENT, SPINAL MRI AND DOCUMENTATION 

15 Credit Hours

This course is an extensive review of MRI sequences correlating to clinical findings and triage. It is suggested that the student first taske the MRI Spine Credentialing course to understand the basics of MRI Spine Interpretation. Connective tissue pathology, disc pathology, related headaches and migraines, age-dating, arthropathy, traumatic etiology, MRI physics, and demonstrative documentation will be the focus of the program.

Module 4: Herniated Discs and Permanent Brain Malfunction & Biomechanical Failure 

75 Minutes – Instruction

Module 5: Demonstrative Documentation of Disc Herniation and MRI Physics

Module 6: Post-Traumatic Herniated Discs, Related Migraines-Headaches & Strain/Sprain Permanences

75 Minutes – Instruction

Module 7: Documentation of Low-Speed Crashes in Determining Etiology of Serious Bodily Injuries

75 Minutes – Instruction

Examination: 1 hour

Course Objective: To have the student be able to understand the etiology of spinal pathology, document it, and triage based upon the severity of the lesion.
