The Personal Injury (PI) Bootcamp is a series of 7 different courses created to give the doctor in the trauma environment a broad background and credentials in determining causality, triaging and diagnosing the accident patient. The program also covers strategies on how to create paradigm shifts in the medical-legal community to have lawyers seek you out because, through clinical excellence, you are the best-of-the-best.
These courses are designed to help you understand the trauma patient from a clinical aspect in the medical-legal environment. It guides you in the documentation of your your care and diagnosing through advanced imaging, neurodiagnostics and clinical evaluations. The courses also teach the ethics and using the laws in your state to ensure compliance with scope and carrier issues.
The documentation protocols in this program has been reviewed by 10,000's of lawyers nationally and has been certified as admissible and complete for accurately reporting causality, bodily injury and functional loss. These are mandatory requirement for most states. The Academy of Chiropractic has worked tirelessly with lawyers nationwide to ensure quality reporting while maintaining ethical relationships.
Module #1: Triaging and reporting while maintaining ethical medical-legal relationships - 1 hour (audio only)
Module #2: Physical examination and documentation for the trauma patient - 2 hours
Module #3: Crash dynamics and its relationship to causality-1 hour
Module #4: MRI spine interpretation, bone scan protocols and interpretation and x-ray protocols in trauma - 2 hours
Module #5: Neurodiagnostics: EMG, NCV, SSEP, BAER, V-ENG; clinical indications and interpretation - 1 hour
Module #6: Documentation and working within your state laws to ensure compliant paperwork and reimbursement - 1 hour
Module #7: Combining clinical excellence and admissibility to ensure the medical-legal community seeks you out for their clients; creating the paradigm shift - 1 hour
