Part 2: Documenting Functional Loss and Quality-of-Life Impairments within “Colossus-Type” and Academic Frameworks

This session provides a detailed approach to the documentation of functional losses—including duties performed under duress and loss of enjoyment of life—as recognized by academic institutions and judicial systems alike. Participants will review and implement the 36 functional loss criteria routinely used by courts and “Colossus-type” algorithms.

Emphasis is placed on correlating subjective patient reports with objective clinical findings and translating them into academically valid, legally compliant records. This ensures accurate impairment ratings and disability determinations supported by authoritative documentation.
