Teaching Goal #1:
To equip healthcare providers with practical, evidence-based skills to identify
and differentiate concussion, traumatic brain injury, and post-traumatic stress
disorder, recognize red-flag conditions requiring escalation of care, and
implement timely, coordinated referrals that optimize patient outcomes and
reduce long-term morbidity.
Teaching Goal #2:
To develop clinician competency in mandatory documentation and evaluation and
management (E/M) coding for spinal pathology and associated comorbidities,
emphasizing proper application of CPT® codes 99202–99205, medical
decision-making frameworks, time-based coding standards, and CMS compliance
requirements to support appropriate reimbursement and reduce audit risk.
