9 CE Credits


This course is engineered for spine orthopedic testing. It gives you the basics on why the test is performed and how. Each test includes a video for you to see it being done along with all clinical rationale about the test. There is a significant amount of instruction on clinical application and positioning the orthopedic tests in the triage of creating an accurate diagnosis along with what concurrent neurological testing or imaging, both radio-graphic and advanced imaging should be considered. This course comes with a complete guide to print and review as necessary in the clinical practice.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

Module 1: The Basics of Orthopedic Testing:The objective of this module is to learn the clincial importance of orthoepdic testing as part of a complete examination and not to be utilzied as the sole arbiter for determining a differential diagnosis.

Module 2: Cervical Spine Orthopedic Testing: The objective of this module is to learn how to perform cervical orthopedic testing along with vertebrobasilar insufficiencies. 

Module 3: Cervical Spine Orthopedic Testing; Part 2: The objective of this module is to learn how to perform cervical orthopedic testing along with vertebrobasilar insufficiencies. 

Module 4: Lumbar Spine Orthopedic Testing: The objective of this module is to learn how to perform lumbar orthopedic testing along with vertebrobasilar insufficiencies.

Module 5 : Clinical Grand Rounds: The objective of this module is to learn how to integrate orthopedic testing in the clinical setting utilizing both simple and complex patient scenarios. It includes potential stroke, or vertebrobasilar insufficient patients and understanding the nuances in a clinical evaluation with orthopedic testing as a critical part of the evaluation and screening process.
